This 27-date Canadian tour was only provisional and therefore subject to change, but was mentioned in the June 1987 official fan club newsletter so planning must have been in the final stages.

I assume the dates did not go ahead to allow the band to recuperate because of the lengthy touring they had undertaken over the previous 18 months or so, but also to allow them to begin work on new material.
