OMD did not play at this show, though the festival did go ahead as planned. A live recording of the Tangerine Dream performance on 19th October is available.

It's not clear why the band didn't play, though I assume it was to concentrate on working on the next album after a well break following a hectic touring schedule across 1981 and into 1982.
